Velcome to Fiends Hangout
Blog Entry:'Tis the season for ghosts and ghoulies.
Gotta keep those Zombies in check these days. They are everywhere. But that Haunted House has a real infestation. If you haven't already head over there to slay a few Zombies before they eat your brain.
Be fast, and watch your back. But don't expect to get out alive. Bwahahahahaha!

End of Summer?
Blog Entry:I'm getting tired of hearing about 'end of Summer this, and ' end of Summer that, when according to my calendar, there is still over a month of Summer left.
More than a month!
Why are we collectively being robbed of a third of a season?
Do we throw away a third of our food because it's getting close to being finished? Do we hand over $.33 of every dollar because it's getting near a whole dollar if we spend only $.66?
I don't think so.
Yet we go along with the hype that Summer ends on Labor Day. It's close, but still not the end of Summer.
The Official end of Summer is September 23. The school year may start between now and Labor Day, but it's still Summer. You may be sweating in a classroom in your new Fall clothes, but it's still beach weather outside, and will be for several more weeks. You may see Halloween candy on the shelves of the grocery store. But it's still not Fall.
I realize advertisers need to get the jump on everyone else to get their seasonal items sold, but come on. In their war of words, the biggest causality is our loss of a whole month of our time; our walks on the beach, our picnics in the backyard, our weekend trips to amusement parks.
Poof, Summer is over. Get your school supplies. Oh, it's Fall. Better get that Halloween candy before it's all gone! And wow, only 126 days 'til Christmas! Does that scare you? Is that too close to finish Christmas shopping?
I guess so, because with 365 days in the year, Christmas is only a third of the year away.

Have the Worlds Stopped Shaking?
Blog Entry:Wow, that was a big quake that hit our little worlds.
I was one of the lucky ones, suffering very little damage. I still have to shore up my giant foot, but otherwise my worlds survived.
For those of you who lost a lot of your carefully planned and executed work, I applaud your lost efforts, and mourn their loss. But remember, you can always rise from the ashes like a Phoenix, rebuilding even better than before.

Down time getting me down
Blog Entry:It's only been a few days but I miss my worlds, and my friends.
Sure getting the daily card is a good thing, and trading them has picked up, but that doesn't take much time. I miss the fun picture ops in the FH worlds. I miss the crazy dance combos. And the Friday night parties with giants...well, I could do without the giants, but the parties are fun.
My fingers are crossed now. Hopefully we'll all be able to get back in worlds very soon.
