We are happy to announce that we have now moved into Public Beta, which basically means, we are still in the early stages of putting all the pieces in place and double checking that all is working properly, so thanks for stopping by. The idea behind FriendsHangout is to create a social networking site focused on 3D content. Here you will find 3D Virtual Worlds which are also 3D Chat Rooms that you can explore, play games and of course chat with users from all over the Real world! Instead of viewing photos uploaded by others 1 by 1, you can actually view them in a 3D gallery. Even our Profile pages have that 3D style about them with DragNDrops. I think you get the idea!

If you are looking for a fun place to hangout, then you have come to the right place. We are constantly adding new features and are always listening to our members to see what they want!

We are using the new Unity game engine, that allows us to create unbelievable scenes that play right inside your browser. No huge software packages to download and install, just a small simple browser plugin and you are ready to play!

Our software is so crazy and you'll definitely agree when you see the scenes and scenarios inside your browser. The beauty of all this is that you can get started immediately, you don't have to do much, all you have to do is to be ready to play and join in all the fun here on FriendsHangout.

Stroll along the beach, ride a jet ski, fly a hover craft, travel back in time when dragons ruled the earth. Each scene allows you to enter a totally different environment, but all scenes use the same basic functions, so once you begin, you always know how to get around.

Every scene is a different environment on Friends Hangout, but don't worry, we won't let you get lost here. The same basic functions are used in each scene, so as soon as you've started you will know how to get around in any environment.

Your avatar is also another fun part of the whole environment setup. You can give your avatar the sort of look you'd never dare to wear in real life but you'd always want to experiment with anyway. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to switch lifestyles at the touch of a button? This is exactly what our virtual world allows you to do. Everything that you need to achieve this level of functionality can be found within the game.

Users can even customize their avatar, to give them that special look. We have partnered with Darwin Dimensions and will be using their new avatar editing system called Evolver which will allow you to totally transform yourself in our 3D worlds, it's simply Amazing. Everything you will need is built right into the game.

As we move forward, members will even be able to create their own custom 3D world. Anything from a simple home (no not just a room, we start you out owning your own home right off the bat) to your own custom world. Companies will be able to sell their products in a virtual store or friends can hang out on another planet. It is totally up to you. We supply all the tools, you just select what you want in it.

If you've got your own website, you could add our chat room software to your own site. No genius skills are needed here; one simple line of html code and you'll be attracting a world of traffic interested in the opportunities the virtual world has to offer.
