We are VERY excited to announce the release of our new Virtual World Builder, now our members can create thier OWN 3D virtual worlds. Check out our videos to the right to get some examples of what can be done with this system.
The new software is quite simple to use, even the most novice of users will have their worlds up in minutes. Once you learn how to make your way around in one world, you know how it works for all worlds.
For those that have that creative edge, FriendsHangout is perfect for you. We have now opened our 3rd Party Developer program that will allow you to upload your own 2D and 3D
content that you can sell in our virtual catalog.
The idea behind FriendsHangout is to create a social networking system focused on 3D content. Here you will find 3D Virtual Worlds which are also 3D Chat Rooms that you can explore, play games and of course chat
with users from all over the Real world!
Instead of viewing photos uploaded by others 1 by 1, you can actually view them in a 3D gallery. Even our Profile pages have that 3D style about them with DragNDrops. I think you get the idea!
We are using the new Unity game engine, that allows us to create unbelievable scenes that play right inside your browser.
No huge software packages to download and install, just a small simple browser plugin and you are ready to play! The beauty of all this is that you can get started immediately, you don't have to do much, all you have to do is to be ready to play and join in all the fun here on FriendsHangout.
As we grow, there will be many opportunities for members to grow with us. Since our worlds play inside a browser, it just takes a few lines of html code to embed your worlds into your own web site or blog. As the system expands, you will be able to link to other worlds all around the web with one easy to use interface.
No matter what type of plans you may have for a virtual world of your own, it can be handled by our system. Want to have a game, chat room, online store, office space for meetings, architectural walkthroughs? Whatever your interest, we should be able to help you fullfill your 3D dreams!

As you can see in this image below, users can take InGame photos to show off what they are doing and we are trying to add as many new features as we can to make our system work the way you want it to. Stroll along the beach, ride a jet ski, fly a hover craft, travel back in time when dragons ruled the earth. Each scene allows you
to enter a totally different environment.
Your avatar is also another fun part of the whole environment setup. You can give your avatar the sort of look you'd never dare to wear in real life but you'd always want to experiment with anyway. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to switch lifestyles at the touch of a button? This is exactly what our virtual world allows you to do. Everything that you need to achieve this level of functionality can be found within the game.
Users can even customize their avatar, to give them that special look. We have partnered with Darwin Dimensions and will be using their new avatar editing system called
Evolver which will allow you to totally transform yourself in our 3D worlds, it's simply Amazing. Everything you will need is built right into the game.
